Deal Covers 11 Big Four Affiliates, 15 Radio Stations, NewsHub in Seven Markets for $64.2M Over the past five years, career broadcasters Mike Reed and Bill Christian built more big four network affiliates from scratch than anyone in TV history. Today, they announce they are selling them, as well as additional stations they own to recent TV startup company Standard Media. The deal covers 23 video streams including stations operating under the names of Waypoint Media, Star City Broadcasting, Vision Communications, and Sound Communications. Earlier this year Standard Media Founder Deb McDermott closed on its first acquisition, purchasing Citadel Media’s ABC stations in Providence and Lincoln.

The Pine Belt has an additional choice for classic television. Starting today, November 21st, WHPM channel 23.2 becomes one of America's newest affiliates of Antenna TV. The Antenna TV lineup is filled with classic sitcoms spanning more than four decades -- including "Dennis the Menace" and "Hazel", based on the comic strips of the same titles. On the night before Thanksgiving Day, Antenna TV will start a marathon of all 146 episodes of "Dennis the Menace", which starred Jay North in the title role. "Three's Company", "227", and "I Dream of Jeannie" can also be seen on Antenna TV. Two shows that spun off from "All in the Family" -- "Archie Bunker's Place" and "Maude" -- are also on Antenna

The flyer includes a message accompanied by a photograph that states: “HB 3470 is doing human trafficking!!! He has a gun in his car… please be careful and look out for the number plate. Pass this around and save a life!”
