Dixie EPA responding to outages after Ida
(The following is a press release from Dixie Electric Power Association.) Dixie Electric’s servicemen and line crews responded to outages due to Hurricane Ida’s winds and heavy rainfall, causing 2,772 members to lose power. Currently, 454 members are still without power. All of Dixie Electric line workers, contract line crews and right-of-way clearing crews began assessing damage and clearing trees and limbs from the power lines.
