Tornado Watch has been extended in time and area until 3am. While we cannot rule out a tornado, we think that the biggest threat will be from damaging wind gusts up to 60-70mph.

We have canceled some of the Tornado Watch for our area. The main squall line has passed through and the risk for severe weather has diminished. However, the watch remains in effect until 7pm for the red shaded locations.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue a little longer. Gusty winds associated with storms may move through the area with little to no rain. Continue to watch out for heavy rain. It is difficult to determine water depth, especially at night.

High pressure will keep the area pleasant and warm again today. Highs will be in the lower to mid 80s, with lows near 60.

Here's a quick look at the forecast for today and tonight. Expect another warm and sunny day with highs in the lower 80s. Warm moist air will return to the area tonight, so lows will be in the mid to upper 50s.

If you liked yesterday, then you will like today. Another nice, sunny day with temperatures in the 70s and no rain in sight! How about that for a Friday and it is the first day of May!
