Local and State Politicians Meet the Residents of Hattiesburg

Hattiesburg, MS - Residents of Hattiesburg had the opportunity to meet local and state politicians for the November ballots. Not only did the residents get to hear each politician, but learn about a new position in Forrest County.

Forrest County is implementing a Circuit Court Judge position. This position ensures that each case is processed in a timely and efficient manner, while overseeing the pretrial process and motion practice too.

Hattiesburg resident, Shawn Elkins says, "There's a lot of candidates I've already made my mind up on but there some that I haven't really truly decided on because they're truly contested, they make good points."

These political forums are held so that residents can meet their local and state politicians.

Voting day is November 3rd, 2015 and the Council of Neighborhoods is urging all residents to vote.
