The Salvation Army Needs Your Help

October 27, 2015

Hattiesburg - The Salvation Army needs your help so it can help those less fortunate. It's offering many ways for you to be generous.

Lt. Stacey Connelly said, "We do give away about 75 Thanksgiving boxes complete with all of the fixings as well as the turkey. We will need several hundred pounds of canned goods. But, we also will be serving approximately about 900-1000 children this Christmas season. We are only as successful as the community in which we serve and we know that Pine Belt is a very generous community."

The Salvation Army is also having its angel tree and kettle kickoff on November 13 at Turtle Creek Mall. People throughout the community can adopt angels, families, or provide food for those who are in need.
