Law enforcement raids pharmacies in Hub City

HATTIESBURG, Miss - Law enforcement raided four Hattiesburg pharmacies early this morning.

A spokesman for the Department of Labor mentioned that the following agencies were involved: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Labor Office of Inspector General (OIG), Veterans Affairs OIG, Health and Human Services OIG, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Investigation Division, Postal Inspection Service, U.S. Postal Service OIG, Officer Personal Management OIG, Mississippi Bureau Narcotics, Mississippi Attorney General Office, Mississippi State Auditor Office, and Defense Criminal Investigative Service.

Advantage Pharmacy located off HWY 98 was one of the four pharmacies raided this morning. The spokesman also mentioned that their are currently statewide warrants in Mississippi for other pharmacies.

The investigation has been going on for awhile and still ongoing says the spokesman.
