Hattiesburg, Miss. - Hattiesburg's African-American Military History Museum is trying to kickoff the new year right.
On January 28, the museum will honor young ladies who've volunteered when the museum was a USO club for black soldiers in World War II.
But this is not the only event that will be taking place for Black History Month. February will entail book signings, story-telling from veterans, a beginner photography workshop, and a "valentine for veterans" event.
