Hattiesburg, Miss. - The Primary Election has a various amount of people interested.
One USM political science professor shared his thoughts to why this election is far more interesting than year's past.
Professor Allan McBride said, "If the Republicans are trying to develop a big tent mentality, you know embracing people from different perspectives, it looks like Trump is working against that. His argument of course is that he's bringing new people in. But, the question I guess will be for the Republicans is he bring more in than he's driving out. It'll be an interesting election. You know the Republicans have had a long period of dislike of Hilary and the Clinton's in general. And if it turns out to be Hilary Clinton against Donald Trump, it's going to be interesting."
Both, Trump and Clinton are leading their parties.
