United Way of Southeast Mississippi hosts annual banquet

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - United Way of Southeast Mississippi held its annual Thank You banquet Thursday.

United Way recognized the members who make their organization a success.

This year the organization raised more than last year and reached $1,080,000.

It had several campaigns this year that increased spending pledges. The impact goal is to make sure the community gets instant support services, while addressing the root causes of key issues.

In 2015 they reached $1,050,000.
