Downtown Hattiesburg Association hosts 4th Annual Craft Beer Festival

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Downtown Hattiesburg Association (DHA) hosted its 4th Annual Craft Beer Festival at the Train Depot Saturday.
Residents interacted with local brewers and tried a selection of over 100 beers from breweries across the state and country, said Andrea Saffle with DHA.
Saffle said this year they sold 100 VIP tickets and had 1200 residents who participated in the event.
"The Craft Beer Festival is all about the creative economy and the creative community" said Saffle. Around 30 breweries were at the event and residents could not be more excited.
Josh Murray, a beer enthusiast said, "I actually came last year, this year its a lot of fun, it is much larger this year, every year it is growing, and everyone is just having fun."
All proceeds will go towards DHA which promotes events in the Hattiesburg area.
Saffle said she hopes the Craft Beer Festival will grow even more next year.
