Miss Hospitality contestants visit ARC Southeast Mississippi

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Mississippi Miss Hospitality contestants are touring Hattiesburg the entire week before pageant day later this week.

Today the contestants visited the ARC of Southeast Mississippi to play and reach out to school-aged children.

ARC's Designee Director Brittany Amos said, "We love having volunteers come, the kids love it, we love the community is involved with us."

Amos added, "We love that they are out here because a lot of the community does not know about us."

The tour helps the contestants understand the many organizations that consist and make Hub-city.

Contestant Libby Li from Neshoba county said, "Miss Hospitality shows your pride of where you are from, especially today being here, we have been practicing all week."

Li added, "Just today just kind of give back to the community."

Pageant day is Friday and Saturday at the Saenger Theater.
