Mayor Magee is counting on a repeat victory in Blood Bowl

LAUREL, Miss. - The City of Hattiesburg and the City of Laurel will be competing in this year's Blood Bowl Tuesday.

Mayor of Laurel, Johnny Magee is counting on a repeat this year.

Magee said, "of course the mayor (Johnny DuPree) and I have been messing with each other about it but, it's for a great cause. We're trying to raise blood because people need blood all the time, especially during the summer months. Blood donations are down because people are on vacation and different things like that."

Magee said there's going to be a lot folks in Laurel Tuesday participating in the Blood Bowl.

The event will be from 9-7 p.m. at the Cameron Center in Laurel.
