Hub-City Service Dogs raises $15,000 in race event

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Hub-City Service Dogs organization raised $15,000 during its 5K and 2 mile race event Saturday.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the nonprofit organization that helps place and train service dogs with individuals who demonstrate a true need.

Race Director Angela Davis-Morris said, “Last year, we had over 250 participants and were able to give over $10,000 to the organization, which has helped us greatly in meeting the needs of our clients."

The organization had 275 runners and walker participate this year.
