LPD sought man wanted for aggravated domestic assault

LARUEL, Miss. - Laurel Police are asking the public to help them find a man who was involved in a domestic incident Monday.

Laurel investigator, Sgt. Michael Reaves said, "His name is Mark Jones. The individual assaulted his girlfriend. She received some pretty serious injuries from that assault and we're pursuing an aggravated domestic assault charge against him at this time."

Reaves said she suffered bruises to her face and was treated at South Central Regional Medical Center.
