LPD, "Night Out Against Crime" preview

LAUREL, Miss. - The Laurel Police Department had its "Night Out Against Crime" event Tuesday night.
This is an event that helps brings the community and law enforcement together.
Laurel Police Officer, Sgt. Shannon Caraway said, "We're going to have a feast of entertainment from the high school band. We got a group coming from Heidelberg. We're just going to fellowship, have a good time. We're going to play games. We're going to give away a lot of prizes. We're expecting to give out a lot of information on things just to make each other safe, feel comfortable with law enforcement."
The event is from 5-8 p.m. at Mason Park.
