HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Coming into this season, the Southern Miss men's basketball team will be able to have more players on its roster.
The postseason and scholarship cut ban has been lifted and head coach, Doc Sadler couldn't be any happier.
"It gives you a chance to get better in practice when you have more bodies. Just the five practices we've had, we've been able to go longer, and we've been able to do things that's going to help us become a better basketball team. Bottom line is, yeah it's going to be nice in the games, but the competition each and every day is what's going to make our team better," said Sadler.
