PETAL, Miss. - The family of a missing Petal man, James Vidrine, 51, is desperately searching for her husband.

Carita Vidrine said she told him she loved him before she left to run errands on October 8.The family is setting a $2,000 reward for any information on his whereabouts.

She said, “Yes it is very unusual and even more unusual is for him to miss work, he never misses work."

"I mean he goes to work sick, the previous weekend he went to the doctor and he was running a fever for three days, but he still goes to work" she added.

She said Vidrine is 5'4 with brown/black hair. "He was last seen driving a 1984 Buick Electra with vinyl top removed and painted dark brown."

The family believes Vidrine may be in the Louisiana area. She said the fact James left without a word is very strange.

If you have any information on Vidrine you can contact your local authorities.
