HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Christmas Miracle Ministry and Miles Per Hour (MPH) motorcycle riders gave 5 families and elderly presents this holiday season.
Both organizations said their mission every holiday is to provide local families and individuals presents who have trouble making ends meet.
Together they gave 15 children top quality toys. After providing presents to families, they stopped by a local nursing home, Windom House to provide 50 fruit baskets to the elderly.
“It is just something that I just feel a need that I needed to do, and it uhm, to give back to the community gives me joy just knowing that people are being blessed by us helping them" Kennedy said.
Christmas Miracle Ministry Linda Kennedy said in total the funds helping the families and elderly came out to be more than $2,000.
Kennedy said every donation counts. She said without the help from the community and sponsors it would not have been possible.
