Pine Belt residents head to Turtle Creek for post-holiday shopping, returns
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The day after Christmas is a time for consumers to clear our last minute holiday deals and exchange or return presents.
According to a study by the National Retail Federation, more than two-thirds of shoppers are planning to take advantage of after-Christmas sales.
Holiday Shopper, Jermain VanBuren told FOX 23, " Well I don’t really know, I just know that after Christmas that a lot of stores do a lot of Christmas sales afterwards."
He continued, "I am just going to walk around so I can see what I can spend my Christmas money.”
Pine Belt women shopping at Turtle Creek mall all headed to Victoria Secret and Bath and Body Works for deals on undergarments and body toiletries.
Samantha Burket said, “We got 50% off the store, and we got some 7 for $27 underwear, I know we got a good deal because its like a hecka expensive.”
Latosha Osby said, " Yes of course we have to go to Victoria Secret, maybe for the 7 for 27 panties.”
“They were sold out of my favorite, the candy apple, they only sell it for Christmas, we were in line for like 30 minutes, but its worth it, bath and body works is totally worth it" said Liberty Barefoot.
“I’m returning the game that did not work, WWE 2010 the draft" said Sean Jones.
