Bond denied for 2 out of 3 men, murder-for-hire plot against prominent businessman

LAMAR COUNTY, Miss. - Two of the three man facing charges in an alleged murder-for-hire plot against a well-known Marion County businessman were denied bond Tuesday.

Glen Evans and Howard Cameron appeared in court for a preliminary hearing.

Evans, Cameron, and a third suspect, Victor Mitchell were arrested November 19.

Authorities said all three targeted Tommy Duff to extort him for money.

Officials said Mitchell's hearing is on Thursday.
