Forrest Co. Sheriff Dept. warnings residents of fake IRS scams

FORREST COUNTY, MS. - The Forrest County Sheriff's Department have received some reports the past week of fake IRS scams.

Authorities said the caller tells residents they need to pay a fine or else they will be arrested.

Officials said the IRS does not take payments on the phone. If you think you received one of these calls please notify FCSD.
