Flooding affects local business

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Some major flooding happened Tuesday morning in the Hattiesburg area.

Peps Point Road was one specific area that endured a massive amount of flooding.

One business was affected by it, and blames Rawls Springs Water and Sewer for it.

Auto Gallery owner, J.R. Nicholas said, "Anytime the big rains come, it backups their sewer system into the houses, into the business. And having to observe the cost because they don't want to do nothing about it. It's just a big mess. Anyway, you can see there's nothing but raw sewage that went into the building. They said they were going to do something about it. We tried to get people here to clean it up, then they don't want to help out."

Nicholas said this is the third time this has happened, and wants Rawls Springs Water and Sewer to fix the issue.
