HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The 4th of July is Tuesday, and some people probably have not purchased any fireworks yet.

One local fireworks salesperson gave her thoughts about which fireworks are the most popular.

Hale’s Fireworks owner, Tina Herring said, "We have the bottle rockets, the boom touch is the favorite amongst all of them. We have the party packs. We have sparklers fireworks, snaps. The small kids like the snaps, just a variety of things here at Hale's Fireworks on Oak Grove Road."

Herring said kids should not hold fireworks in their hands, and they should place bottle rockets in coke bottles when lighting them.
