Golfers participate in Magnolia Amateur

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The 6th annual Magnolia Amateur began Friday at the Hattiesburg Country Club.

156 players from all over the world, including places like Canada and even Australia are playing in this tournament.

Golfers went off two waves, and will be doing the same Saturday. 72 of the lowest players and ties will be cut after Saturday's round.

Sunday will be the last day of the tournament where a new Magnolia Amateur champion will be crowned.
