COLUMBIA, MS. - A minor traffic stop in Columbia landed two people behind bars. Columbia Police arrested Calvin Guy and Nikita McGowan Saturday after a large quantity of illegal and prescription drugs, as well as a stolen weapon were found inside the car.

CPD said both Guy and McGowan had active warrants. Authorities said, "A Jimenez 9 mm semi auto pistol was found and confirmed to be reported stolen out of Bogalusa, La."

On arrival at the Marion County Jail, officials located a pill bottle hidden on Calvin Guys body. It was found to also contain a considerable amount of cocaine, meth, oxycodone and ecstasy.

Calvin Guy is charged for the drug and gun violations, stolen weapon, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute while in possession of a weapon.

McGowan was arrested for the active warrant.
