HATTIESBURG, MS. - Residents at the Overlook Apartments are without water Wednesday morning after a water main break.

Crews from the city of Hattiesburg worked all morning to fix a water main break that started leaking Tuesday night according to apartment officials.

Assistant Manager Ashley Scarborough said there was a break in the "t-pipe" that was coming from one of the fire hydrants.

"They are going to replace that pipe that is in there because it is broken where the pipes are joined at and so that is where they are going to do to fix the pipe" said Scarborough.

According to Scarborough city officials did not warn her about a boil water notice.
