Hattiesburg and University Police meet with Sunday protestors

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - University and Hattiesburg police department met with State Flaggers and Southern Mississippi Democratic Socialist of America Protestors Thursday.

Police met with the groups to set a few parking and safety rules.

A University Police Officer asked individuals from each protest group to not bring weapons nor use fighting words.

Each group is assigned to a designated area on USM's campus. The State Flaggers will park and protest near the pond area and near the service road by the Ogletree House. The Democratic Socialists will park and protest neat the Jr. Food Mart gas station and behind the Arthur Kelly building.
