Levitt Amp foundation members tour Hattiesburg

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Levitt Amp foundation members took a tour of Hattiesburg Friday.

The foundation awarded USM with a grant to host the Levitt Amp concert series in Chain Park. Foundation members said they are happy to support the economic development through music and engagement.

“It was an opportunity to have the university and the community partners and sponsors work together and integrate within the community. We empower communities to take under used spaces, activate them, make them destinations where people feel welcomed and for the community to gather.” Victoria Bridenstien, Levitt Amp Programs Manager said.

The Levitt Amp concert series are free and will continue in Chain Park Friday night.
