UBS giving away solar eclipse sunglasses, blood donations encouraged

HATTIESBURG, MS. - The following is a press release from United Blood Services.

As the sun aligns with the moon on August 21, United Blood Services is giving blood donors the opportunity to align their power to make an impact with the needs of the community!

Be a part of this celestial event by donating blood. Donate at the Hattiesburg donor center, 805 S. 28th Avenue, on one of the following days:

Saturday, August 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Sunday, August 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Monday, August 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Donors will receive a “Solar Eclipse Blood Donor” T-shirt and NASA approved eclipse viewing glasses! ***glasses and T-shirts are while supplies last

Do you know someone that would make a great candidate for a blood donation? Please bring them with you! United Blood Services is looking for those whom have never donated before to become a part of United Blood Service’s life saving mission.
