DuBard School hosts 21st annual Dyslexia Symposium

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The DuBard School for Language Disorders hosted the 21st annual DuBard symposium at Southern Miss Wednesday.

The annual educational event brings in nationally recognized speakers in education and therapy to lecture on learning techniques for those with Dyslexia and other related disorders.

“The speaker we have this morning is William Van Cleave and he is a written language specialist. So he is giving us a lot of good ideas to work with students to help them organize their language, help them organize their hand writing and to get those words down on paper,” said Missy Schraeder, Interim Director of DuBard School.

More than 100 professionals from around the state were in attendance at this year's event.
