Forrest General Hospital hosts annual trauma symposium

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Forrest General Hospital hosted their annual Trauma Symposium Friday.

The symposium is an educational event for staff and Pine Belt providers to learn about Trauma care in different settings.

"Continue to promote and educate our staff and people of the Pine Belt area about how we can continue to improve and as trauma care providers here for the whole pine belt,” said Trauma Medical Doctor, Dr. Duncan Donald.

Attendees also participated in lectures about orthopedics, neurosurgery, active shooter, bleeding control and ICU Care.
