HPD takes part in nationwide drug take back program

On Saturday, October 28, 2017, the Hattiesburg Police Department participated in the National Drug Take Back Initiative in efforts to keep our community safe and drug free. Citizens took advantage and turned in approximately 115 pounds of unwanted, unused, or expired pharmaceutical drugs. HPD extends great gratitude for those that made a difference in their community by keeping drugs out of the hands of the youth and out our environment.
