Jones County Junior College: "Because of the extended winter weather conditions, JCJC will be closing the ATC (Advanced Technology Center) and the E-Learning Testing Center for today, Friday. The JCJC E-Learning Center will open from 12-3 pm tomorrow (Saturday) to take students who missed exams today. Also, students can take online exams on Monday during regular hours." JCJC adds the Clarke County Center in Stonewall is also closed for the day.
More notes from JCJC: "The Thespian Experience at JCJC scheduled for FRIDAY NIGHT has been cancelled. Also, the ACT Test scheduled at JCJC on SATURDAY morning has been cancelled. "
William Carey University: "(WCU's) Hattiesburg campus offices are closed today."
Hattiesburg Clinic: "Due to weather conditions, Hattiesburg Clinic locations are closing. Immediate Care on Hardy Street will be open until 3 p.m. and will reopen at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Cloverleaf Immediate Care is closed today but will be open 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. tomorrow."
The Library of Hattiesburg, Petal and Forrest County will be closed today. Same can be said of the Laurel-Jones County Library.
Additional note from libraries in Jones County: "The Laurel-Jones County Library & the Ellisville Public Library will remain closed (through December 9) due to the threat of hazardous road conditions. We have also cancelled Breakfast with Santa (Saturday) morning at the George V. Harrison Multipurpose Building.
