Suspect captured from Laurel road rage incident

LAUREL, Miss. - The suspect involved in the road rage shooting in laurel last week Thursday was arrested and identified as 19-year-old Stephen Brown.

Laurel authorities responded to the scene where Brown shot a driver on Mississippi Highway 15 North near Parker Drive.

The victim was transported to South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel for treatment and is currently in critical condition.

According to police, Brown was apprehended and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a stolen firearm in connection. His bond is set at $10,000 for the assault and $5,000 for the stolen firearm.
