Downtown Hattiesburg Crawfish Jam

HATTIESBURG, MISS. - Hattiesburg residents attended the Downtown Hattiesburg Crawfish Jam on April 21 to hear live music and enjoy all you can eat crawfish.

Southern Beverage Co., Budweiser and Hattiesburg Historic Neighborhood Association presented the 20th Annual Downtown Hattiesburg Crawfish Jam.

Proceeds from this year’s festival benefit a festival committee member’s treatment fund for ovarian cancer.

The event was expected to set the record for the biggest Crawfish Jam in the history of the event, and according to Historic Downtown Hattiesburg Association committee members, this expectation was met.

“Truly this is probably the biggest crowd we ever had for this event,” Executive Director of the Historic Downtown Hattiesburg Association said. “Things have been going smooth, food is going well, and the bands are the timeline”

The organization estimates they gave out over 1-thousand pounds of crawfish at the event.
