This press release comes from the Jones County Sheriff's Department

HATTIESBURG, MISS. – On April 19, 2018, Jones County Sheriff’s Deputies were alerted to a larceny complaint on Township Road in Jones County. The victim stated he had last seen his lawn equipment the night before.

Meanwhile, in Jackson County, Mississippi, members of the Pascagoula Police Department impounded a trailer with lawn equipment, along with several other pieces of equipment. After running the numbers on the riding lawn mower, and contacting the dealership where it was purchased, it was determined this was the equipment that was stolen from Jones County. After the equipment was discovered stolen, Joshua A. Harrison, 23 of Ellisville and Zachary J. Holland, 21 of Ellisville, advised the Pascagoula Police Department that their trailer and equipment was taken and at the impound lot of the Police Department.

Harrison and Holland were taken into custody in Pascagoula and Jones County Sheriff’s Investigators picked them up on April 20, 2018 and charged them both with two counts each of Grand Larceny. There were additional items, including weapons, recovered and believed to be items from recent burglaries in Harrison County. This investigation continues and additional charges are pending.

Harrison and Holland were each given a $10,000 bond by Judge Billie Graham.
