City of Laurel issues revised statement ahead of weekend repairs
LAUREL - The City of Laurel released a revised statement to My FOX 23 concerning upcoming repairs to the water system.
"This notice is to advise residents of maintenance/repair work planned for Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 7AM - 7PM on the city water system.
This is most likely to affect residents and businesses north of PARKER Drive and west of University Avenue (this includes the Windermere Subdivision.) It is possible that precautionary boil-water alerts could be issued when water pressure is lost so please stay alerted to changes on our City of Laurel Facebook and/or Twitter pages. The water department has requested that those who experience low/no water pressure to please call 601.428.6464 so your location can be logged. We apologize for the inconvenience and will make every effort to complete the needed repairs as quickly and as safely as possible."
