Swan Song: Was it the worst debate ever?

Some are calling it the worst debate in history. Others labeled it a train wreck -- a disaster of presidential proportions.

I'm talking about Tuesday night's Democratic presidential debate in South Carolina. I don't know how many people tuned in to watch it but I thought it was quite entertaining. I kinda reminded me of a scene from "National Lampoon's Animal House".

There they are career politicians and two billionaires -- acting like a bunch of frat boys and sorority girls who want to lead the most powerful country in the world. Southern civility in South Carolina went out the window as the candidates went into panic mode attacking, yelling, talking over each other instead of telling the country what qualifies them to be president.

It is hard to look at those debaters as the future leader of the free world. But I must say it was the most entertaining two hours I've seen on TV in a while and that includes the Oscars and all the other Hollywood spectacles.

Surely, some movie mogul saw it and said this would make a great movie. Maybe the return of "Animal House"?
