Large area of thunderstorms moving through the Pine Belt

A large area of thunderstorms is moving in from the west with additional development taking place along the coast and adjacent Gulf waters. Frequent lightning, gusty winds, and locally heavy rainfall can be expected. We are monitoring for the potential of an isolated severe storm along and south of I-10, but the strongest storms will likely stay in the Gulf waters.
