MDOT to Host Hurricane Blitz in Biloxi Saturday
To further prepare residents for hurricane season, MDOT representatives will be handing out the new 2015 Hurricane Evacuation Guide and vital preparation materials and checklists at the second Hurricane Blitz of the summer. In addition to updated information on lodging, animal shelters and radio coverage, the guide features a detailed map of alternate routes and contact information for road conditions. Information on contraflow, developing a hurricane disaster kit and other resources in the event of a hurricane will also be available at the blitz.
