SuperTalk Laurel to host Jones County Political Rally featuring statewide and local candidates
Laurel, MS - Supertalk Laurel 99.3 will host the Jones County Old-Fashioned Meet, Greet, and Speak Political Rally on Tuesday, June 30, at Jones County Junior College Advanced Technology Center in Ellisville beginning at 6 p.m. Both local and statewide candidates will be available to meet with attendees and speak to those in attendance. Speeches by statewide candidates will be carried on the entire Supertalk network all over the state of Mississippi and local candidates’ speeches will be carried on Supertalk Laurel 99.3. Statewide candidates’ speeches will begin shortly after 6 p.m. with local candidates’ speeches following at approximately 7:15 p.m.
Governor Phil Bryant is scheduled to be part of this event along with the following statewide candidates: Mike Chaney (Insurance Commissioner); John Moseley (Insurance Commissioner); Mike Hurst (Attorney General); Stacey Pickering (State Auditor); Mary Hawkins Butler (State Auditor); Thomas Blanton (Public Service Commissioner-Southern District); Sam Britton (Public Service Commissioner-Southern District); and Tony Smith (Public Service Commissioner-Southern District).
Also attending the event will be a host of local candidates including those running for Circuit Clerk, Sheriff, State Senate, Superintendent of Education, Supervisor, and Justice Court Judge.
