Mississippi Cloggers, Sound Off for a Cause host Special Olympics benefit
Variety show, auction and plate lunches make for family friendly afternoon
The Mississippi Cloggers and Sound Off for a Cause are hosting a variety show performance and auction to benefit Special Olympics Mississippi, Hub City Region.
The free event will be held this Saturday, October 3rd at 12 p.m. at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg. Doors will open at 11 a.m. for those who want to check out the items for auction.
A plate lunch of pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad, dessert and drink will be sold for $8.
This will be a fun show for the whole family, and some valuable signed sports items, gift cards, USM tickets, movie tickets and more will be up for both a silent and live auction.
Come enjoy food, entertainment and an exciting auction, then head over to the USM football game at 6:00!
Special Olympics Mississippi, Hub City Region returned to the area with its Inaugural Games September 2015 after a decade hiatus. The chapter serves a five-county region, including Walthall, Marion, Lamar Forrest and Perry counties.
The Hub City Region completed a successful return with nearly 100 athletes and 300 volunteers and continues to grow as future games are planned.
