Treats in the Streets

Ellisville - JCJC attracted many people throughout the community to their campus. It wasn't for their academics nor any sporting event. The big turnout was for their annual "Treats in the Streets" event.

JCJC Instructor, Rebecca Patrick said, "we are celebrating 'Treats in the Streets.' The reason we are celebrating it is because it's Halloween, and it's fall, and it's fun."

A lot of JCJC students were involved with "Treats in the Streets," not only to do a community service project, but to dress up and have a lot of fun as well.

JCJC student, Allison Wigley said, "we decided to be peanut butter and jelly, because we're best friends. We met here on the yearbook staff and it's easy and simple....peanut butter jelly time!"

The college kids weren't the only one's having a blast. The younger kids were doing their thing too.

Patrick said, "we have a costume contest, ages zero through the scary JCJC kids at the end.

There's just a little something for everybody."

There were a lot of great costumes, but the one that stood out the most in many people's eyes was Tiffany, from the hit movie, "Bride of Chucky."
