Lumberton Mayor Resignation

Lumberton, MS - Lumberton mayor, Ben Winston resigned yesterday.

Winston has served as mayor since 2013.

The town has struggled financially for years.

Winston was recently making an effort to secure a $2.5 million grant for Lumberton in order to get the city's financial plans on the right track.
