Mississippi flags at half-staff after Paris attacks
JACKSON, MS (AP) - Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant has ordered the state flag to be flown at half-staff at public buildings to honor the victims of the deadly attacks in Paris.
Bryant's order Monday follows one issued Sunday by President Barack Obama, for the U.S. flag to be lowered as a sign of respect for the victims.
The U.S. and Mississippi flags will remain lowered through Thursday.
