Bomb threat at a Junior High School in Vicksburg

VICKSBURG, Miss - Students from Warren Central Junior High School were evacuated after a report on a potential bomb threat.

Police officials received the news from a student who told the school staff that a classmate showed him the bomb in his school bag.

A police dog found the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the school library.

The student who brought the bomb is currently detained, but has not been charged.

There were no reports of any explosion or injuries.
