An Old Radio Station Catches Fire

Hattiesburg, Miss. - Hattiesburg firefighters are looking into the cause of a fire that engulfed a building Tuesday night on 7th Street.

The buidling that caught on fire was the old Fox Sports 1400 A.M. Radio Station.

The old radio station was vacant and no one was inside at the time.

Hattiesburg Fire Chief, Paul Presley said, "Well they arrived on scene around 8-8:30. We found the structure totally engulfed. We're currently investigating the call of the fire with the State Fire Marshall's Office. We had one fireman get hurt. He's having to go to the burn center right now in Jackson."

The firefighter does not have life threatening injuries.

The building was badly damaged.
