Jones County Car Crash

Jones County, Miss. - Heavy rain may have been a contributing factor in a crash Wednesday that seriously hurt a Wayne County woman.

Mississippi Highway Patrol said she was driving her Chevrolet Impala when she hydroplaned and drove off the road, which caused her to crash into a concrete drainage ditch.

The victim was placed on a backboard onto a stretcher and taken to South Central Regional Medical Center.

Her condition is unknown.
