PRCC receives police radios

FORREST COUNTY, Miss - Pearl River Community College (PRCC) received mission critical digital radios for all of its campuses through ComSouth in Hattiesburg.

PRCC officials and Forrest County Sheriff Billy McGee were concern about handling emergency situations on or near campus.

Adam Park, Assistant Director of Public Safety for Forrest County Operations realized his department's antiquated equipment limited PRCC's ability to communicate with the Sheriff's office.

President of the Pearl River Board of Trustees mentions he understood the budget downfalls and did not want the college to be deficient in important matters.
