Southern Miss Football Gets Some Early Signings

Hattiesburg, Miss. - Southern Miss Football team signed six JUCO recruits Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles signed Itawamba Community College quarterback, Kwadra Griggs. Griggs threw for over 2,000 yards and clocked in 18 touchdowns in just ten games.

Pearl River Community College defensive standout, Tarvarius Moore will be joining the defensive backs. Northeastern Oklahoma A&M’s, Shannon Smith and East Mississippi Community College wide receiver's, Allenzae Staggers and Isaiah Jones will be joining USM.

Another wide receiver the Golden Eagles signed is Hinds Community College standout, Marquez McNair. McNair was a star quarterback at Magee High School and is the son of Hall of Fame quarterback, Steve McNair.
